I'm in Kazakhstan but my ping is connected to US too, in other games to Europe however I live next to china like why would I not be an Asian player
I want them to reduce the wheel to human cooldowns with the introduction of fly wheel, anti and the dumb interactions where survivors can't get hit on certaininteractables he is just so slow to use, the speed hunter is slow. He feels bad, he is not fluid to play, he can get ties but he can struggle to get the tie. He should have just been nerfed in the cooldown of his max presence. I miss when he felt good to play, not as in OP cause of his insta downs with max, but when he could change forms and that wouldn't mean that he basically will waste his time due to the survivor transitioning instantly away or his attack being blocked completely. Yes, hunters should have counter play, but the reward for playing him is not good enough cause he feels as if u r playing with bad ping even if u have good ping that day

i mean i ran detention trump on wheel for ages before i finally started using inso......... but i have to admit that when you have a 0% loss rate without that, inso feels like cheating wonder what confined is like..
Goatman nerfs are unnecessary considering he chips out of cage. If they make his cages weaker but still give him the capability to hit for regular attacks out, it’d be better.

Goatman is the weakest hunter atm in my opinion. Not only the camera issues are annoying but his complete design is flawed. His main thing is his cage, he needs it to do max damage but the cage is also his biggest weakness. My suggestion are: A) flip his camera angle when going through a cage and A2) make it so the cage consists of less segments. B) make the cages actually scary to be in, a regular damage amount isn’t enough maybe a photolike damage amount (0,75?). I bought him and left him after 10 matches, didnt win not draw even a single match.

in my opinion they shouldn’t let new characters let in rank so early on cuz in champ tier he is always perma banned alongside ivy so there is no chance to practice against him or for goatman mains to practice him and experiment many strategies so there shouldn’t be any need to nerf/buff a character when they barely get to shine. I‘m sure once high tier survivors figure how to actually counter him it’s genuinely gonna be difficult for goatman mains with so many nerfs. I think netease is just scared to create another meta hunter like opera and ivy but they really just have to wait for a few more weeks before they full on nerf a character like that! As a survivor main my matches against him have been very annoying cuz my teammates and I barely figured him out but just like past meta hunters he is probably gonna fall off so they should just put a public test server and make us leave feedbacks before random nerfs. Idk if anything I said made sense it’s 2 am for me im tired lols

from my time playing him ive discovered that the camera faces the same way youre facing before you go through. so if you face the cage youll come out facing outwards and ive found that easier and results in less frantic swinging

I'm surprised by his adjustments I don't really see him being as "impactful" but then again maybe they're afraid of having another opera and ivy situation I agree with your adjustments I think it would make life a little easier other than that I don't really see him needing much other than maybe a better recovery time I see him being very similar to Clerk in terms of play style and overall counter play, Just like her I believe he's gonna be really strong in solo ranks but I don't think he's gonna be a tournament viable hunter

Yo Kuroahiro, in a Q&A they said that on 12th of sep, new changes for characters will be implemented and they mention toy, forward and mech, what do u think they ll touch of them?
I mean, for survivors, problem isn't numbers. It's mechanic itself. In my games, Goat just place a cage, do a hit AND while you still didn't yet have enough time to runaway, he places another cage and makes another hit. Before a nerf, i was in game vs Goat, and we successfully opened exit, but we couldn't enter it and runaway like 40-50 seconds straight, just being forced to run here and there in pallets near exit, cuz nonstop cages, or timing is not right to run from palet to exit or something like this (remember, he has 120s detention, we cant just tank hits). If i remember correctly, if 2 survivors in cage, you can't break the cage. And if you can, Goat just teleports to you and smack your back. The second you fix toxic unable-to-do-anything gameplay, you could rise his numbers. I can easily dodge Hermit stuns, Gamekeeper hooks, i could even dodge AxeBoy souls... I mean... i could bait or dodge 99% of IDV hunters skills with reflexes, flywheel, another abilities... Because they actually have counterplay. But not FKIN 15 METERS HUGEA$S 10 SECONDS LASTING CAGE, AND IF YOU TRY TO BREAK IT, GOAT JUST APPEAR IN FRONT OF YOU, AND 1 SECOND LATER YOU LICK THE GROUND. I mean, if his cages last 5 seconds, and had cooldown 15s, it could be much easier to actually see windows for counterplay. I mean with full bar he basically have possibility to trap you for 30-40 seconds i guess?
The cages can be broken if 2 survivors are inside, which is why he can be pretty weak to harassers since the other survivor can break the wall while the goatman is focusing on the target His bar also takes 50 seconds at max presence to full up fully so he kind of deserves to be able to stall for a really long time
From my perspective after playing him a lot, I do definitely agree that he is not a beginner character and there's a lot of thing that can go out of your favor if the survivors are able to reach those tight kiting areas. That said, I do think Goatman has a lot of underrated tools in his disposal, such as the chip damage aspect funnily enough, that I do think make Goatman a very strong and scary Hunter to face. If there's one thing I'd like, I do hope NetEase does address the doubles cage, or lock off, strategy with Goatman. I'm not sure if you find it a big deal or not, but I do think the playstyle promotes a lot of anti gameplay for the survivors unless they play one of the Goatman counters, which are stunners and tanks. Otherwise, I honestly don't think the Goatman nerfs are that bad because, to my knowledge, you counter a lot more survivors than a lot of people expect. Especially with the lock off strategy, you can potentially counter certain transitional survivors, such as Weeping Clown or Cheerleader, with your cages. The chip damage hit is just nice to do on the rescuers if theres no healer on the team, since then they become an easier target for later on. You either force the survivors to use their resource for that chip hit, bottle or stress if theres no doctor, or they're susceptible to you using the cage to block off their kiting routes when you eventually do get that normal hit. That's not going into how Goatman has probably the scariest basement camps in the game. Goatman does has counter play to him and doing so will cause him to struggle, but I do think there's a lot more than meets the eye with Goatman and I do think he will have what it takes to stand in the meta.
Sadly, I disagree with you on this. Him being able to block off an area should be allowed bc it is only 1 of 2 things he has to help him in chase. Way too many survivors counter him. Plus, his cage duration is so short. If you over use your cage then he has absolutely nothing to help him in chase other than the "Blink" or "Warp" you brought. On top of that, he only deals chip damage outside of a cage. In my personal opinion the cage time should be reverted to 11 seconds or even to 12 seconds bc most places survivors are kiting in have pallets and windows. On top of that, survivors have abilities that can extend kites easily. He only counters about 10 of the survivors while the rest counter him or he struggles a ton to get them. Two survivors he counters are Mind's Eye and Prisoner, he locks them in a cage with him and they both have nothing to help them kite other than pallets and windows. Two hard counters to him are Perfumer and Doctor. Personally, I would buff him by making the time it takes before a survivor to be able to pass through the wall again take 4 seconds because 2 seconds is way too short. It takes takes time to walk to the wall where the survivor went and then 1 second to find which way the survivor ran to. By that time the survivor is already running through another spot on the wall. At max presence his dash backwards should just be faster and a little longer. The dash doesn't help a ton most of the time bc it is too short and you move too slowly.
@@CubanPanda I'll be honest, I don't think the increase time on cages will matter a lot because, once a survivor actually reaches a kiting area, there's really not much the cages can do to help you. They're too big in those situations unless it's a really big area, so extending the time wouldn't help cages in kiting situations all that much. I also don't disagree that lock off shouldn't be used to reset tempo or to get a hit if you're struggling, but I do think it should be just that, used only if you're struggling. It shouldn't be something people use every single time and in every single chase. It's why I feel just increasing the discount cost or making a cooldown for double cages a fine alternative, as you keep the double caging, but tone it down to make it not made your game plan. I feel like a lot of people seem to overlook just how many survivors Goatman counters, especially when not taking lock off into consideration. Lock off helps you counter so many more survivors in this game simply because you just stop the survivor from going into the kiting area they want to go to. Sure, tank survivors like Perfumer or stunning characters like Anti won't have much struggle against this, but characters like Doctor, Patient, Lawyer, Batter, and even Forward will have a hard time against a Goatman using lock off. Even normally, I feel characters who don't gain distance immediately, like Aero or Merc, won't be able to do well against Goatman since he can put a cage down while you're trying to gain distance, either locking you off or trying to force you to teleport. There's a lot more characters that get countered by Goatman than meets the eye. Do I think Goatman doesn't deserve quality of life? No. I do think the extra time on survivor teleports is fine, however it can suck if a survivor gets caged in an area with absolutely nothing in it. At the end of the day, cages turn into a teleport fest when the survivors and this change will definitely help with that. With that said, I don't think he needs any major buffs, as he already works extremely well as he is right now. Both his chase and camp are really good at their current moment, even if survivors know the counterplay to them. Finally, they cannot remove the chip damage aspect to his kit because they would need to rework his kit entirely. If they were to make his hits do normal damage outside of cages, then people would just always use cages to lock off areas and never use it for mind games. Even then, I do think the chip damage aspect is fine. Sure, it's not an injury, but it always makes the chase a bit more easier to get the down because you can just use cages to lock off. Plus, your chip hits still grants you full presence, so I think it's a good feature. It also just guarantees the rescuer can't go for another rescue, since you can hard lock down the chair survivor and use one cage to injure them and the lock down cages to get the down. Those are just my thoughts on Goatman and you're free to agree or disagree.
@jestergio9961 I never wanted them to remove the chip damage, I was simply stating that outside of a cage, you only deal chip damage, which is a hindrance making him weaker most of the time. You can chip bit the rescuer early on in the match and then TS them later or use cages to stop the rescue. Chip damage doesn't allow for any survivor debuffs to activate, plus the whole fact that it can take up to 4 hits to down the person. The characters who can heal chip damage in rank are quite popular (at least in Manticore, that is). Regarding the countering, yes he can counter harassers by locking them in a cage and then picking up the survivor while the harasser breaks the cage. If Goatman traps one of the harassers in a cage with them he is going to struggle to down them (excluding if you trapped them in an open area. When it comes to actually downing the harasser is where he struggles. Either way, I feel he should at least get increased time before the survivor can portal again bc we are basically dealing with spamming between entering the portal to avoid hits how you do with Jojo's cameras.
@@CubanPanda I don't even mean countering harassment, I mean countering them in chase in general. For the sake of the argument, we can just remove Forward since he can go insanely fast in 1 second and maybe Wildling since he's just really good on Boar. Cowboy has to rely on backwards lasso against Goatman since lock off or normal cages can wall him off of pallets and ciphers, with backwards lasso being extremely counterable, so he gets countered. Weeping Clown just can't go anywhere with rocket because he doesn't gain immediate distance with rocket. Finally, lock off strategy makes so harassers who do have a more favorable match up against Goatman, Enchantress, Prospector, and Batter, much harder as they now need to use their ability to try and force the Goatman off them rather than using them to extend their kite, which may or may not work. The only harasser I feel will have no troubles against Goatman whatsoever unless the player doesn't perform well is Antiquarian, who's disarm time will allow her to either get away or break the cage before the disarm runs out. The reason I bring up the chip hit thing here is because I've been seeing a lot of people saying they should just remove the chip aspect and that it's unnecessary, when it is necessary. Plus, I do think the chip hit aspect, while a bit punishing, encourages energy conserving, like Violetta, and allows for unique approaches to how you down people, so I'm fine with it

I’ve seen much success from goatman with patroller it’s similar to Mary as they both use ability to quickly come to the stunned surv but the higher tier you get the easier he is to kite, his camp is niche and his basement is niche but when he is against 2 or more survs at a time it’s difficult to do much.. 😢 also the fact he has a built in counter to his cages is something, although it may benefit in camp when it comes to chase it’s really just hoping that the survivor doesn’t look at you when kiting

Hmm... 12:00 Yeah, as a Psych player Goatman really doesn't scare me Goatman feels similar to Ann in terms of strengths and weaknesses but just a weaker version of her. I really hope people discover things with him since he's such an interesting hunter
Goatman has camp and can close a lot of distance more than a lot of hunters, if u just spam cages and then blink u can get early down and camp or use big cages to harras, 180 degrees is just an inconvinience compared to the strengths

You should check out Sikey's goatman stream video. He was accidentally pulling off the coolest feats, still getting 4ks after making many mistakes and his win streak was impressive, he didn't lose with goatman ONCE.

its hard to bodyblock without a pallet ngl easiest bodyblock is probably blocking long pallets, bodyblocking on open ground is hard unless the hunter doesnt expect it

why pros always comit this "missplay" late game? Why painter so greedy in not put the paiting to rescue mechanic safe then bodyblocking, they waited the train to come in, gained time, cipher 40% n 2 survivors to cover, they lose by themselves
I was waiting for you to commentate on this Persica match, as a Tracy player that bodyblock was actually insane. So happy to see Persica getting to play her main so often in these playoffs, Huan assisting/kiting as painter (just great) and the embalmer shenanigans to just finishing adding an extra layer of protection (even if it just ends as a tie). I'm excited for their future as a team, because they're only going to go up from here.
